Eddeth Greer
Eddeth Greer, 89, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Cranberry Township, died Wednesday afternoon at Parks Edge Nursing Home in Tulsa.
Born in Frisco, Beaver County, Sept. 9, 1918, she was the daughter of Jacob Sharpe and Hannah Neville Cable.
She was a private first class in the Women's Army Air Corps during World War II, served with the 4105th AAF and received the American Campaign Medal, the WWII Victory Medal and the WAAC Service Medal.
Surviving are a son, Gary Greer and his wife, Monique, of Great Mills, Md.; a granddaughter, Tiffany Greer of Great Mills; and a sister, Hannah Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Greer; a son, Clarence W. Burkes Jr.; and her sisters, Donna Belle Gallaher, Florence Steinbrink and Cora Hardesty.
