Charles D. Kriner
Charles D. Kriner, 60, formerly of Titusville, died Friday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Decatur, Ga.
Born July 16, 1947, in Titusville, he was a son of Miriam Whitford Kriner Bailey and the late Luther M. Kriner.
He attended Titusville High School, where he excelled in band and chorus and graduated in 1965.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He entered the service on Jan. 6, 1967, in Cleveland and served on ground in Vietnam from January 1968 to November 1969. He was honorably discharged April 20, 1970, with the rank of sergeant.
Mr. Kriner is survived by his mother of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, the Rev. Donald L. Kriner and his wife, Barbra Lee, of Canton, Ga.; a sister, Lois Kriner Millsap of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
<B>KRINER </B>— Friends of Charles D. Kriner, who died Friday, June 13, 2008, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the <B>Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home,</B> 303 N. Washington St., Titusville. Burial, with full military rites conducted by officers and members of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW, will be in at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
