Albert Karl "Al" Hansen, 75 of Moore Road died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday at his home.

Born Jan. 24, 1933, in Woonsocket, S.D., he was the son of Albert August and Erna Hansen.

Mr. Hansen had been a brakeman in sheet metal department at Pearson Mfg., formerly of Etna.

He enjoyed arts, woodworking, gardening, metalwork, contracting, yardwork — he did it all; and he loved his wife.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Ann Hansen, whom he married in 1959; a son, Albert James Hansen and his wife, Shannon; a daughter, Marlys June Hansen Frederick and her husband, Tim; four grandchildren, Ashley May, Kayla Marie, Veronique Lacie and Nicholas Ivan Frederick; a brother, Edward John Hansen; five sisters, Arlene Labriola, Mildred Hanningan, Marilyn Foringer, Karen Bursick and Lorraine Beatty; and a niece.

He was preceded in death by a son, Karl Robert Hansen, who died April 25, 2006; a brother Gert Hansen; and a sister, Marlys Hansen.

<B>HANSEN</B> — Friends of Albert Karl "Al" Hansen, who died Thursday, June 12, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with his nephew and godson, the Rev.
