Wright

Warren E. Wright, 83, of Zelienople, formerly of Franklin Park, died Sunday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Ingomar, to Willard and Grace Neely Wright.

Mr. Wright was a steamfitter with Local 449 and retired after 35 years.

He was a member of the Franklin Park AARP 3741 and the Franklin Park Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran who was a sergeant in the Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley A. Watenpool Wright. They were married at Trinity Lutheran Church on March 17, 1955.

Also surviving are his son, David Wright and his wife, Linda, of Saxonburg; his daughter, Cathleen Cukovich and her husband, Mark, of Renfrew; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marion Rhodes of Bethel Park and Gloria Meinert of Wexford.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Karaffa.
