Marian Lois Walker
The family of Marian Lois Walker would like to invite family, friends and neighbors to join us in a celebration of life in memory of our mother. A brief memorial service with fellowship and refreshments to follow will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Jaycee pavilion in Alameda Park. Please join on Flag Day to celebrate what would have been mom's 84th birthday.
Marian lost a short but valiant fight with cancer on Feb. 11, 2008.
Since 1990, Marian had lived at the Top of the World Community in Clearwater, Fla., but previously lived in Butler for 35 years, where she and Roy raised their family of four. During that time she had been a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving her are a son, Randy Walker of Slippery Rock; three daughters, Penny (Bob) Cragle of Rome, Pa., Susie (Clint) Chesson of Cary, N.C., and Lisa (Clifford) Judson of LeRaysville, Pa; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
