Christian Kindya and Kristen Flinner

A Sept. 6 wedding is being planned by Kristen Flinner and Christian Kindya, both of McDonald.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of DuWayne and Joyce Flinner of Prospect. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Richard and Diane Kindya of South Fork.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in 2004 and will receive her master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. She is also employed by the University of Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Bishop McCort High School and in 2004 from Duquesne University. He works for Fisher Scientific in Robinson.
