NAZARETH, Pa. — The Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant is under way with preliminary events at Nazareth Area High School.

Miss York County, Randi Levendusky, was Wednesday's winner in preliminary swimsuit and evening wear events. Miss Southwestern Pennsylvania, Shannon Doyle, was the winner in a preliminary round of the talent competition with a tap dancing performance.

Preliminary rounds continue tonight. The final night of competition will be on Saturday.

Two Butler County representatives, Maria "Brooke" Miller of Portersville and Courtney Thomas, are competing.
