Wagner

Gerald Edward "Jerry" Wagner, 80, of Meadow Brook Lane died Monday at Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1927, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Louis G. and Gladys Schaffer Wagner.

Mr. Wagner, a graduate of Butler High School, attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1968 to 1970 to become a graphic arts instructor at Butler Senior High School.

He was a World War II veteran serving with occupational forces in Japan.

He was a member of Community Alliance Church.

Mr. Wagner worked at Pullman Standard as a machinist. He owned Be Jay Printing Co. during the 1960s and later owned Wagner Copy Quick/Wagner Printing Co.

He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, motorcycling, antique cars and metal detecting.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia J. Wagner, who he married May 30, 1947; two sons, Terry and Chris Wagner; three daughters, Linda Wagner, Trudy Keller and Kim Sechrist; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Stuckie; a cousin, Floyd Wagner; and five nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Elaine Wagner; and a brother, Louis Wagner Jr.
