Zane P. Donaldson, 88, formerly of Cranberry Township and of North Hills, died Wednesday.

He was a World War II and Korean War veteran and was a prisoner of war from the Battle of the Bulge.

Mr. Donaldson was a past president of the Photography Club of Pittsburgh and a member of the Model Railroad Club of Gibsonia.

He was the beloved husband of the late Emma F. Kolich Donaldson and Janice McCullum Donaldson.

He was the loving father of Zane (Jamie) Donaldson of Monroeville, David (Linda) Donaldson of South Carolina and Richard Donaldson of McCandless Township; grandfather of Kaitlyn and David Donaldson; stepfather of Alice Elder of Florida, Patty Jo Porter of Slippery Rock and Christine (Bill) Lewis of Texas; and stepgrandfather of Ivana Grant, Tony Drescher and Nicole Fischer.

Donaldson, who died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES</B>, Monroeville/Plum Chapel, corner of Beatty Road and 48 North, Monroeville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
