Mary Jane and Bob McGowan

Bob and Mary Jane McGowan of Slippery Rock celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner party June 22.

McGowan married the former Mary Jane Carrara on June 20, 1948, at a Methodist church in Slippery Rock.

McGowan, owner of several businesses over the last 50 years, is now an associate broker at Matthews Real Estate in Grove City.

Mrs. McGowan, a retired school teacher and office manager, is a homemaker and enjoys flower gardening.
