James L. McCrea
James L. McCrea, 64, of Buffalo Township died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home in the company of family members.
Born in Natrona Heights, Nov. 23, 1943, he was the son of George A. and Helen L. Collier McCrea.
Jim was a member of the Saxonburg Kingdom Hall in Clinton Township.
He had worked as a leak tester at Equitable Gas Co. in Pittsburgh for 35 years and retired in 2005.
Jim was a social member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, cutting grass, working around house and building model airplanes.
Mr. McCrea is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol L. Hinderliter McCrea; two sons, Douglas J. (Sheri) McCrea of Indiana, Pa., and Michael L. (Shannon) McCrea of Summersville, S.C.; and a daughter, Linda C. (Joseph) Anthony of South Buffalo Township. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Toby, Kelsey, Ashlee, Samuel, Zachary and Kylie McCrea and Joey Anthony.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert G. McCrea and Patrick J. McCrea, who died in infancy.
