Rupp

Florence E. "Flossie" Rupp, 89, of Cabot, formerly of Vandergrift, died Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Born Aug. 29, 1918, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Herbert and Emma Sasse Montgomery.

She had been a clerk at Altmeyer's in Vandergrift and New Kensington.

Mrs. Rupp was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vandergrift.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed homemaking and needlework.

Surviving are a son, Donald (Sara) Rupp of Vandergrift; a daughter, Evelyn Smeltzer of Washington Township; five grandchildren, Debbie Peterson, Nancy Smeltzer, Greg (Terri) Rupp, Kevin Rupp and Susan (Randy) Fello; four great-grandchildren, Kristin Peterson, Callen and MiKayla Rupp and A.J. Fello; two nieces, Patty (Paul) Fisher and Janet (Lou) Hortert; and a nephew, Bob (Diane) Stivison.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Mark Ellis; her second husband, George W. Rupp; a brother, John Montgomery; and three sisters, Mabel Stivison, Ruth Edge and Gladys Rath.

<B>RUPP</B> — Friends of Florence E. "Flossie" Rupp, who died Thursday, May 29, 2008, will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Phil Gustafson officiating.
