Edward J. Hamil
Edward J. Hamil, 45, of Harrisville died at 1:38 a.m. Friday at the Forum Health Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Born April 10, 1963, in Grove City, he was the son of the late Ralph Hamil and the late Josephine Stevens.
Mr. Hamil was a telecommunications operator for Butler County 911 Center, retiring in 2005. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mr. Hamil loved to watch his girls play fast pitch softball. He was the vice president of the Thunder Elite Girls Fast Pitch Softball Association. Mr. Hamil bowled in the couples league and businessmen's league before his health failed.
Mr. Hamil is survived by his wife, Cindy Smith Hamil, whom he married May 9, 1987; two daughters, Sara and Amanda Hamil of Harrisville; two sisters, Janet Evans of Butler, and Suzie Ferguson of Boyers; and one niece and two nephews.
