Michael James "Treebark" Speicher, 29, of West Sunbury died unexpectedly Saturday in Beaver County.

Born Feb. 5, 1979, in Butler, he was the son of Paul E. "Shorty" Speicher of West Sunbury and Kathleen Booher Speicher of Ambridge. He was a laborer at various construction jobs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived two brothers, Paul "Pete"Speicher Jr. of Harrisville and Mark Speicher Webb of West Sunbury; his maternal grandparents, W. Clayton and Maidie Booher of Branchton; his stepmother, Karen Webb, who helped raise him; his stepsister, Crystal Webb; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

<B>SPEICHER</B> — Friends of Michael James Speicher, who died Saturday, May 24, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Todd Strong, of the United Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Bill Booher, Michael's uncle and former pastor of the Ivywood Church, will assist with the service. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family.
