Jason Christy and Lacie Becker

An Oct. 11 wedding is being planned by Lacie Becker of Butler and Jason Christy of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brian and Patricia Becker of Saginaw, Mich., and LeaAnn and Sven Christiansen of Fayetteville, S.C. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Doug and Deb Christy of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Tar Heel High School and a 2005 gradate of the University of NorthCarolina Pembroke. She is employed at UPMCBraddock.

Her fiancé graduated in 2002 from Knoch High School and in 2008 from Slippery Rock University. He is employed at Treesdale Golf and Country Club.
