Butler's Cruise-A-Palooza fans enjoyed beautiful weather last year. The day may be cloudy this Sunday, but organizers are hoping for a good day at the event on Main Street.

Rodfathers of Butler will host its 14th annual Cruise-A-Palooza from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday along Main Street.

Hundreds of classic cars are expected to participate and the first 300 vehicles will receive a dash plaque. There will be free entertainment all day. Food will be available.

Entertainment will include performances by the band Nervous Energy at 12:30 p.m.; oldies rock band Legends from Dayton, Ohio, from 2 to 3 and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and Johnny Angel and the Halos from 5 to 6 and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

In addition to the live performances, disc jockeys will play records every two blocks on Main Street.

The side streets will be available for parking.

During the car cruise, the Butler County Historical Society will open the Butler County Heritage Center on West New Castle Street, the Little Red School House on East Jefferson Street, and the Lowrie-Shaw House on West Diamond Street.

Be sure to see the Jay Bee Miniature Circus, an incredibly detailed hand-carved and hand-painted replica of the classic three-ring show, at the heritage center. The center will be open for tours from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tour admission is $5 for adults, $2 for ages 5 to 17, and free for anyone younger than age 5 and historical society members.

Food items will also be available for purchase.

The school house, built in 1838 as Butler County's first public school, will be open for tours from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $1 per person. Children younger than age 5 are admitted free.

The Lowrie-Shaw House, built in 1828 by Walter Lowrie, Butler's only U.S. senator, will be open for docent-guided tours from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for ages 5 to 17, and free for those younger age 5.
