Shannon and Michael Parks

Shannon Isovitsch and Michael Parks were joined in marriage at 1:30 p.m. April 19 at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont. The Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiated. A reception followed at the Oakmont Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Judy Isovitsch of Butler.

Parents of the bridegroom are Elmer and Mary Parks of Kittanning.

Serving the bride as honor attendant was Lynn Isovitsch of Kennett Square. Bridesmaids were Deidre DeAscanis of Yardley and LeAnn Repos of Palmyra.

Best man was Matthew Yough of Pittsburgh. Ushers were Mark Klinger of Lower Burrell and Tim Gray of Cabot.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Knoch High School. She graduated from Penn State University in 1997 and in 2005 from Carnegie Mellon University, where she is working on a doctoral degree.

Her husband graduated in 1990 from Knoch High School. He attends Allegheny County Community College. He works for The Gallery in the Burgh in Pittsburgh.

Following a wedding trip to Ireland, the couple resides in Oakmont.
