The Naporas in 1938

John and Sally Napora of Renfrew celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary June 14 with a brunch at the Old Country Buffet followed by a surprise party June 15 at the home of the Robert and Sally Houllion in Butler.

Napora married the former Sally Rudosky on June 14, 1938, in Russelton.

They have three children, Sally Houllion of Butler, Marsha Kowal of Butler and Dr. John Napora of Tampa, Fla.

They also have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Napora is retired from Pullman Standard. He worked as a golf pro at the Krendale Golf Course and taught golf for many years at the YMCA.His wife is a homemaker.The Naporas belong to SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
