Shirley and Rawland Fox

Rawland and Shirley Fox of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an Alaskan cruise and tour with their family.

Fox married the former Shirley Myers June 28, 1958, at Callensburg Methodist Church with the Rev. Mervin Schwab officiating.

They have three children, Jayanne Cook of Manhattan, Ill.; David Fox of Meridian and Marlene Welch of Indiana, Pa.

They also have 12 grandchildren.Fox owns and operates Fox's Barber Shop on Evans City Road. He is a U.S. Army veteran.Mrs. Fox is a retired nurse from Butler Memorial Hospital.The Foxes are members of Meridian United Presbyterian Church.
