Janet and Sumner Forrest

Sumner andJanet Forrest of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a cruise to Hawaii.

Forrest married the former Janet Fleeger on June 28, 1958, at the First United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Bruce Forrest of Gulfport, Miss., and Eric Forrest of Tucson, Ariz.

The also have three grandchildren.Forrest is retired from the Air Force. He belongs to the Bean Hill Gang and the Skylarks of Sharon, both model flying clubs.The Forrests volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Slippery Rock Community Library. They are members of Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.
