PENN TWP — The fourth annual Kid's Expo will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Butler County Airport.

The free event provides music, entertainment, hands-on activities, lunch and educational exhibits for parents and children.

Activities will include a Pennsylvania Army National Guard rock wall, face-painting, township police department fingerprinting, township fire department fire safety education, the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium touch table, and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission casting contest.

The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Science Center also will sponsor activities.

PITTSBURGH — The Carpatho-Rusyn Society and the Western Pennsylvania Slovak Cultural Association are sponsoring a screening of the foreign film "Absolut Warhola."The 80-minute film will be shown at 3 p.m. Sunday at the National Carpatho-Rusyn Cultural and Educational Center, 915 Dickson St., in the Munhall section of Pittsburgh.The light-hearted, offbeat documentary features interviews with European relatives of artist Andy Warhol, though they never knew him.Admission is free. LAUGHLINTOWN — The Ligonier Valley Historical Society is sponsoring a Children's Weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the Compass Inn on Route 30. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.The guided tour of the restored 1799 stagecoach stop will be geared toward children, and hands-on activities will be available. FRANKLIN — The Franklin Gardeners' Association will present a House & Garden Tour from noon to 4 p.m. June 28.The tour includes five gardens and/or homes in Franklin with a reception at the Gateway Garden at the Fire Station on the corner of 13th and Otter streets.Tour tickets and brochures provide a description of each stop and a map so visitors can choose their own routes.Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students.
