Dillon 60th anniversary
Charles and Nina Dillon celebrated 60 years of marriage with a noon Mass June 15 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, followed by a luncheon at the Butler Country Club for family and members of their wedding party.
Dillon married the former Nina Turnblacer June 16, 1948 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
They have seven children, Ann Dillon of Austin, Texas; Chuck Dillon of Butler, Bob Dillon of Benbrook, Texas; Patti Birckbichler of Butler, Dan Dillon of Cranberry Township, Liz Catalane of Sewickley and Mary Jo Hutchison of Saxonburg.
They also have 18 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Dillon is senior attorney with Dillon, McCandless, King, Coulter and Graham. He has been practicing law in Butler for 56 years. He also served 4 years in the U.S. Army in World War II, most of which was served in the southwest Pacific. He enjoys playing golf.
Mrs. Dillon is a registered nurse. She has also been active in women's clubs and has served on the Church Committee, the Ladies' Guild and Christian Mothers of St. Paul's Church. She enjoys playing golf and bridge.
