Marian Louise Martin
Marian Louise Martin, 78, of Prospect, formerly of Aliquippa, died Sunday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 5, 1929, in Aliquippa, Beaver County, she was the daughter of Grant Ulysses and Carrie Madeline Brant Carl.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prospect.
A graduate of Aliquippa High School, she was a homemaker and had been a bookkeeper at Camp Lutherlyn in Prospect for several years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Gary Martin, whom she married Jan. 4, 1964; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Mable) Cunningham of Aliquippa; a brother, Richard Carl of Beaver; four nephews, Richard Carl of Pittsburgh, Jimmy Carl of Ohio, Billy Carl, formerly of Hopewell, and Daniel Cunningham of North Carolina; two nieces, Mrs. Steve (Marian) Dickinson of Aliquippa and Mrs. Mark (Linda) Millick of Monaca; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
<B>MARTIN</B> — Friends of Marian Louise Martin, who died Sunday, May 11, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prospect, with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Monaca
