Stevenson

Ethel K. Stevenson, 82, of Freeport Road died Wednesday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Sept. 5, 1925, in Butler, she was a daughter of John J. and Nora Gould Schuller.

Ethel had been kitchen manager of Bessemer Inn in Lyndora for more than 20 years until her retirement. She formerly had worked in the canteen at Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Mrs. Stevenson was a member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church. She was a member and past senior regent of the Women of the Moose and also was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Cubs ASA Club.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra L. Farmer, of Gordon, Neb.; two sons and their wives, Thomas J. and Cyndie Stevenson and George E. and Patricia Stevenson, all of Butler; a brother, William Schuller of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Judith Tirk of Emlenton; six grandchildren, Lisa Young, Kristie Peters, Laura Pfeffer, Army Spec. Thomas R. Stevenson and Patrick and Karissa Stevenson; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Thomas C. Stevenson, who she married Feb. 16, 1946, died May 21, 2002. A brother and a sister also preceded her.

<B>STEVENSON</B> — There will be no visitation. Graveside services for Ethel K. Stevenson, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gruenwald Cemetery with the Rev.
