Sloan, Collins

A Sept. 27 wedding is being planned by Katie Sloan of Butler and Casey Collins of Herman.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Kathleen Sloan of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Christopher Collins of Herman and Linda Clark of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School. She graduated from the Indiana (Pa.)University Academy of Culinary Arts in 2008 and works for the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa in Farmington.

Her fiancé graduated in 2003 from Butler High School and in 2008 from Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
