Mary Jo Burk, 68, of Clarion died at 3:57 p.m. Sunday at the DuBois Medical Center after a chronic illness.

Born in Kaylor, Armstrong County, Feb. 28, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Burton "Bud" and Jessie Pearl Wolfgong Williams.

She was a Presbyterian and graduated from Fairview Township Karns City High School in 1958.

A homemaker, she enjoyed her grandchildren, crocheting, reality television and playing bingo.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Drake of Clarion and Victoria O'Connor of Butler; two sons, Mark and Brian O'Connor, both of Greenville, S.C.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence "Burt" Williams and his wife, Kitty, of Karns City and Larry Williams and his wife, Debbie, of Fairview; and a sister, Linda Lee Crawford and her husband, Joseph, of Brooksville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sarah Williams.

<B>BURK </B>— Following cremation, a private interment service for Mary Jo Burk, who died Sunday, May 4, 2008, will be held at the Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, Petrolia.
