Eleanor J. Bicker, 80, of Cabot died Tuesday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Born Aug. 16, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of William D. and Ella M. Rowand Wright.

She had been a registered nurse at St. Margaret Hospital and Butler Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bicker was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Freeport Chapter 179 and a member of the Saxonburg American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Robert W. (Theresa) Bicker of Butler, four daughters, Mrs. Susan (John) Bowser of Grove City, Mrs. Jane (Nicholas) Sarandou of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Barbara (George) Edinger III of Cabot and Mrs. Amy (Roger) Lutz of Butler; eight grandchildren, Christopher Sarandou, Mackenzie and Owen Bowser, Katerina Sarandou and Joshua, Rachael, Matthew and Abigail Lutz; a brother, Richard L. Wright of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Mrs. Margery W. Davies of Butler.

Her husband, Robert H. Bicker, died March 9, 1998. They were married July 17, 1954.

<B>BICKER</B> — Friends of Eleanor J. Bicker, who died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger Keller officiating. Burial will follow at Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Saxonburg Area Library.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
