Papania 50th anniversary
Frank and Martha Papania of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Four Seasons Banquet House in Gibsonia May 25.
Papania married the former Martha Frost on May 24, 1958, at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Pittsburgh.
They have six children, Glenn Papania of Pittsburgh, John Stambaugh of Aurora, Ill.; Tracy Hackworth of Sandy, Utah; Susan Collier of Zelienople, Scott Papania of Mason, Ohio; and Amy Itri of Allison Park.
They also have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Papania is retired from truck driving and is an avid golfer.
Mrs. Papania, as a semi-retired office administrator, is involved in the Christian Mothers' and Women's Guild and the Silver Sneakers.
The couple are members of St. Fidelis Parish in Butler.
