John T. King
John T. King, 86, of Valencia died on Thursday peacefully in his home.
Born Oct. 27, 1921, in Dorseyville, he was the son of Edward J. and Lena M. Miller King.
He was a fourth generation, lifelong farmer who was active with his family farm until the age of 82. His proudest achievement was raising his 13 children into the loving, faithful and hardworking persons they are today.
He also was a member of the Smiling Seniors of Holy Sepulcher Church.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ida Mae Weissert King, who died on April 26, 1990. He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman P. King; a sister, Helen Weissert; and a grandson, Jacob Bogan.
He was the beloved father of John King of Florida, William King of Meridian, Theodore King of New Jersey, Marilyn Miller of New Wilmington, Mary Lou Muti of Harmony, Martha Bogan of Butler, Michael King of Butler, Joseph King of Valencia, Mark King of Valencia, Janet McKnight of Slippery Rock, Elaine Pisarcik of Valencia, Jane Dillner of Gibsonia and Mathew King of North Hills; and brother of Mae Billie of Ohio; and also by 42 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
<B>KING</B> — The King Family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Sepulcher Church, Glade Mills, with the Rev.
