The Hilgars in 1948

Leslie and Delores Hilgar of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner and reception June 2.

Hilgar married the former Delores Jackson on June 2, 1948, at Second Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have six children, Dale Hilgar of Eau Claire, Ray Hilgar of Chicora, Laura Wyant of Rochester, N.Y.; Keith Hilgar of Greenville, S.C.; Vernon Hilgar of Butler and Mark Hilgar of Butler.

They also have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Hilgar is retired from Spang and Company and Mrs. Hilgar is a homemaker.

The couple are members of First Baptist Church in Butler.
