The McGaugheys in 1958

Bernard and Bonnie McGaughey of Fenelton celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the J-Barn in Sarver on May 16.

McGaughey married the former Bonnie Summerville on May 17, 1958, at Franklin Union Baptist Church in Worthington.

They have three children, Scott McGaughey of Worthington, Tammy McGaughey of Chicora and Kelli Spohn of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren.McGaughey is owner and founder of M&M Lime Company in Worthington.Mrs. McGaughey is the owner of Bonnie's Beauty Salon in Fenelton and works as a beautician there. She is also a homemaker.The McGaugheys are members of Franklin Union Baptist Church and have worked with trustees, deacons, deaconesses and with the Board of Christian Education.
