The SlipperyRock boys track and field team will be well represented at the Class AAA PIAA Track and Field Championships next weekend.

Senior Ian Campbell will compete in three events after his big day at the District 10 championships earlier this week.

Campbell won the high jump win a 6-foot, 1-inch effort. He was second in the triple jump and met the qualifying standard in the long jump.

EthanGeisler won the district title in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.94 seconds. He also advanced in the 110 hurdles.

In all, the Rockets will send eight individuals and a relay team to the state meet.

Knoch fell to Hampton 10-4 Thursday night.Jess Protzman had a goal and an assist for the Knights (4-14), while Kate Werkling, Chelsea Yursic and Brooke Balliet each scored goals. Hilary Rihn added an assist.Knoch closes its season at Winchester Thurston Monday.
