3:02 p.m. May 10 — Stephani Codispot, 19, of Butler, Stephanie Dittman, 18, of Fenelton and a 15-year old Butler boy were charged with retail theft after they allegedly cut a cellular phone from a display rack at Kmart in Pullman Square and tried to conceal it in a purse.

6:23 p.m. Thursday — Richard M. Kough, 31, of Kittanning was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and public drunkenness after he allegedly stole money from a purse at the Colonial Motel on New Castle Road. He is in Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bail.

9:17 a.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Connie Jo Reiter, 33, of New Kensington, a vehicle driven by Diane Shurick, 51, of Sarver and a vehicle driven by Raymond Spolar, 62, of Leechburg collided on the North Pike Road section of Route 356. Reiter suffered minor injuries.

3:29 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Sabrina L. Maire, 30, of Hilliards and an SUV driven by Wendy D. Sellers, 34, of Eau Claire collided on Route 138 at State Street in West Sunbury. Both drivers, a 5-year-old passenger in Maire's car and a 6-year-old passenger in Sellers' car were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Maire was cited for failure to stop or yield, not wearing a seat belt and not having the required insurance.11:46 a.m. May 11 — A vehicle driven by Roger A. Sherman, 66, of Butler and a vehicle driven by James N. Mazetti Jr., 53, of Tarentum collided on Route 228 at Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. Both drivers and Mazetti's passenger, Lenora M. Jones, 45, of Tarentum, were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Sherman was issued a traffic citation.

11:13 p.m. Thursday — Shane Hutcherson, 35, of Arnold was charged with driving under the influence, driving while DUIsuspended, careless driving, driving on road laned for traffic and five counts recklessly endangering another person after he allegedly caused two other vehicles to crash before crashing his own vehicle on Route 28 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County. John Evankovich Jr., 46, Melissa Evankovich, 42, both of Karns City were in the first vehicle. Cassandra Grenninger, 48, Brittani Grenninger, 18, both of Chicora and Jeffrey Shoop, 48, of Leechburg were in the second vehicle. No injuries were reported.Thursday — A vehicle driven by Dara L. Nolen, 67, of Natrona Heights hit a deer then collided with the median along Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Nolen was wearing a seat belt and suffered neck and back injuries.

1 p.m. Thursday — Police picked up two illegal aliens near Exit 45 along Interstate 80 in Richland Township and turned them over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Jaun Garcia Flores, 19, and Jose Miranda Rubio, 31, both of Mexico, were allegedly questioning people in the area about a disabled vehicle left there Wednesday, when 12 illegal aliens were picked up by state police.
