Flora M. Priester, 84, of Rimersburg died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at her home after a sudden illness.

Born Jan. 17, 1924, at Kelly's Station, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of the Rev. D.C. and Jessie McKain Henry.

Mrs. Priester was a homemaker and member of the Wildcat Wesleyan Methodist Church near Rimersburg.

Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Chuck Shirey of Youngstown, Ohio, and Gwen and Jerry Stitt of Callensburg; two sons and their wives, Larry and Gayle Priester of Butler and Martin and Rosemary Priester of Akron, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Hulda "Hud" Ramsey of Youngstown, Ohio; and two brothers, Robert Henry of Bliss, N.Y., and Floyd Henry and his wife, Carol, of Worthington.

Her husband, Floyd C. Priester, who she married June 24, 1942, died Aug. 15, 2002. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Rankin; an infant sister, Edith; and six brothers, Conrad "Bud," James, Richard, Delbert, Russell and Donald Henry.

<B>PRIESTER</B> — Friends of Flora M. Priester, who died Sunday, April 13, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Varner Funeral Home</B> of Rimersburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Deeter, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
