Rachel - give it up. We're beating our heads against the wall here. On this site, there are a few givens:

1. Most of the posters are conservative, and automatically dislike anybody who does not subscribe to their view of life.

2. There is a paranoia about change. Change = bad things.

3. While many posts lament the loss of "respect" in the world, there is a noticible lack of it given to those who view things differently.

4. Nobody has a sense of humor.

5. All teachers and politicians are crooks.

6. Everybody who already got their education wants to cut money to schools.

For those of you that are upset about the generalizations I've made above - how does it feel? How does it feel to be lumped into a group? How does it feel to have words shoved in your mouth? Ever hear of a strawman? If not, look it up. Rush Limbaugh is the master of it.
