Louis 'Louie' Bennetti
Louis V. "Louie" Bennetti, 49, of Clarion died of natural causes at 7:15 p.m. Monday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Born Dec. 23, 1958, in Butler, he was the son of the late Frank J. Bennetti Sr. and Sarah Richardson Buzard of Sligo.
He was a 1977 graduate of Keystone High School. In 1980, he received a diploma in watch repair at the Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown. In 1997, he graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
He worked in Paul A. Weaver Jewelers for a number of years.
He is a member of the Sligo Presbyterian Church and attended the Clarion Church of the Nazarene.
He is a member of the Clarion Lions Club, the former Jaycees of Clarion for 15 years where he held the position of vice president of communications and also the vice president of individual development, and a former member of the Eagles and Moose Clubs of Clarion.
He was active in the Special Olympics.
He conducted educational and inspirational lectures for UCIP; he was involved with the United Way and Easter Seals and served on numerous boards and programs to help individuals with disabilities.
He enjoyed going to movies and spending time with his friend, Billy Weaver. He also enjoyed watching and teaching his nephew, Adam Donaldson, to play basketball. Louie loved boating and the Clarion River and playing wheelchair basketball.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. C. Alvin "Cuttie" Buzard of Sligo; two brothers, William Bennetti and Frank John Bennetti Jr. and his wife, Aggie, all of Butler; a sister, Stacey Murphy and her husband, Denny, of Sligo; a brother, Michael Buzard and his wife, Rhonda, of Sligo; nieces and nephews, Louis "Little Louie" Bennetti of Petrolia, Johnny Bennetti of Butler, Adam Donaldson of Clarion, Amber Buzard of Sligo and Ryan Radaker of Clarion; and a great-niece, Veda Rose Bennetti of Petrolia.
Also, his caregiver, Mary Altman of Clarion, and aunts, uncles and many friends survive.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Richardson.

Burns Funeral Home</B>, Clarion.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Myers officiating.
