Dorothy Irene Pritts

Dorothy Irene Clark Pritts, 77, of Callery died Wednesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Oct. 15, 1930, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was the daughter of Charles W. and Ida Dietle Clark.

She was a member of the Crestview Community Church in Callery, where she served as a deacon and was awarded the title of Mrs. Crestview in honor of her ministry at the church.

She worked at John's Bar in Evans City for 40 years and was a member of the Callery Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Pritts enjoyed bingo and loved cooking.

She is survived by a son, Donald "Donnie" Clark Pritts and his companion, Phyllis Nesbitt of Emlenton; three daughters, Joyce Nicklas and her husband, Wayne, Barbara O'Barto and her husband, Richard "O.B.," and Cathy Young, all of Evans City; a brother, Frank "Joe" Clark of Meyersdale; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Broadwater, and a half-brother, Earl Baer.

<B>PRITTS</B> — Friends of Dorothy Irene Clark Pritts, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenville Union Cemetery in Meyersdale.
