2:39 a.m. today — Robert Eckmark, 44, of Butler is accused of crawling up a ladder and into the sleeping room of his ex-girlfriend, Deanna Wilson, 41, at a home on McKinley Avenue. Wilson told police that she did not want Eckmark there. He was arrested and cited for defiant trespass and public drunkenness.

4:15 p.m. Tuesday — A small amount of coins and a piece of jewelry in ablack plastic ashtray from a vehicle were found on Hopewell Avenue near W. Rick's Taproom & Grill. The owner can claim the property by calling police at 724-285-9600.2:36 a.m. Tuesday — Police had to use a Taser to subdue a 53-year-old Butler woman armed with a gun at her Evans City Road home.Officers several times told the reportedly suicidal woman to put the gun down but she refused. The gun was removed afterward. No one was injured.The woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Police said she is charged with reckless endangerment.

8:45 p.m. Wednesday — Ryan A. Williams, 29, of Slippery Rock is accused in an altercation at Palmer's Bar on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township.During the incident racial slurs were directed at Robert Clay, 29, of Grove City and Robert T. Jackson, 31, of Forestville. Both men are black and Williams is white.Witnesses reported they believed Williams had a knife in his hand during the altercation. Police said he is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.Wednesday — Gary Irwin of Butler reported someone broke into his rental property on School Street in Bruin and stole two sections of 3-inch copper pipe about 8 feet long.Wednesday — About $10 in change was stolen in a burglary Tuesday or Wednesday at the Saxon Golf Course on Ekastown Road in Summit Township.Tuesday — Someone reportedly stole $110 from a Main Street home in Prospect. The theft occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.Tuesday — Ablue Volkswagen Beetle hood was stolen from Aspen Road in Fairview Township. The theft occurred between May 1 and Tuesday. Roger Schmoll of Petrolia owns the stolen property, valued at $30.

May 2 — Michael Joseph Saunders, 22, of Pittsburgh was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment after fighting outside of Towers Hall on Cornish Drive. Saunders is accused of spitting on the officers who arrested him.

Wednesday — An unknown thief climbed onto a roof between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday and removed the lightning rods and grounding straps from the Millbrook Road home of Joyce Sagulla in Worth Township.
