Teachers: where to begin? Well, let's begin from a parent's perspective. Shall a parent rely solely upon the instructions of teachers for their child's "priceless" education? More accurately, shall a parent rely solely upon the State's invaluable curriculum? Which one of you, presumably having a brain, would pay to relinquish their own philosophical foundations (be it moral, economic, or spiritual) and Constitutional Rights, to impart such "priceless providence" to the State under the direction of the NEA? Unfortunately, that is exactly what most parents do, and what the overwhelming majority of single-parents must do.

And if I so choos to spend my savings accumulated by a 50-60 hr work week on a private institution that I deem most valuable and most beneficial to the priceless needs of the future generation (my children) I still must pay the State.

To reduce the point to a common level wherein much of these posts inhabit, also reduces the severity to a more acceptable and maybe even a more palatable masquerade. I commend the compassionate hard work of teachers, yet fault them for advocating State-sponsored extortion formed out of the heart of a Catholic hating KKK member some 80 years ago.
