Paul H. Dupe
Paul H. Dupe, 70, of 250 New Castle Road died Friday at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born July 26, 1937, in Butler, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude Hickey Dupe.
Mr. Dupe was a veteran of the Army. While in the Army, he was an eyewitness from a distance of 300 feet of the "Old Smokey" atomic bomb test in New Mexico.
He worked as a painter for Keffalas Painting in Butler for 40 years until his retirement.
Mr. Dupe was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Shirley Ritzert of Lowellville, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Betty M. Ritzert; one brother, James E. Dupe, and one nephew, Charles G. Ritzert, preceded him in death.
The family would like to thank everyone from the Butler Memorial Hospital and the Butler V.A. Hospice for all their support and care. They are grateful.
