Both the men's and women's track and field teams from Slippery Rock University captured the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title Saturday at Indiana (Pa.).

Freeport High School product Lacey Cochran ran a leg on two winning relay teams for The Rock's women — the 400 and 1,600-meter squads.

Cochran also set an SRU record with a second-place time of 55.97 seconds in the 400 dash.

Jen Harpp (5,000 run) and Raissa Weiss (3,000-meter steeplechase) placed first in an event.

Jennifer Hansen took home Outstanding Field Athlete honors after winning the pole vault and placing third in the long jump.

SRU's women, who have now won three straight PSAC team titles, scored a total of 203.45 points, well ahead of second-place Lock Haven (111).

On the men's side, Mars High graduate Brad Mueller won the 100-meter dash by setting a school-record time of 10.47 seconds in the event.

SRU ended with 124.5 points.

Lock Haven was second with 108 points.
