9:56 p.m. Monday — Paul L. Ealy, 56, of Lyndora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Delwood and Evans roads.6:40 p.m. Monday — An unknown driver in an unidentified Ford pickup truck struck two mailboxes along MercerRoad, and did not stop following the crash.3 p.m. Monday — ASmith &Wesson 9 mm Sigma pistol was taken from a pickup truck at the King's Family Restaurant parking lot on New Castle Road. The pistol has a black synthetic frame and a silver slide.12:48 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Adam Schettler, 19, of Connoquenessing and Adam Swidzinski, 88, of Butler collided at Whitestown and Meridian roads. Police said Schettler was cited for running a red light.

Sunday — A Marlin 30-30 hunting rifle was stolen between April 15 and Sunday from a garage on Fatima Road in Connoquenessing Township. Harry F. Young of Renfrew owns the rifle.7:02 a.m. April 6 — Breanne McKee, 25, of Butler was injured when the motorcycle she was driving crashed on Eagle Mill Road in Franklin Township. McKee, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown off the cycle and rolled up against a utility pole.Police said McKee, who was driving with a learner's permit, suffered moderate injuries. She was treated at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

1:17 a.m. Sunday — Thomas Humphrey, 63, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 488 in Ellport.
