Margaret Baumgart

Margaret Baumgart of Butler recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a family day trip to the Meadows.

The former Margaret Cockroft was born April 8, 1918, in Saskatchawan, Alberta, Canada. She married Norbert Baumgart on February 6, 1937. He is deceased.

She has six children, Mary Lou Barnes of Butler, Norbert Baumgart of Warren, Cecilia Kennedy of Butler, Thomas Baumgart who is deceased, Catherine Kohlmeyer of Butler and Carolyn Kudamik of New Hill, N.C.

She also has 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Baumgart is retired from Butler Area School District and enjoys bingo and crocheting.

She is a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
