The sun will rise today

And we will feel your warmth around us,

As though the sun was coming from our family

Remembering you.

We know that you are the warmth that surrounds our hearts,

You are the joy and the laughter we feel when we're together;

And you are the giving and caring and thoughtfulness

That guides our steps every day.

Your gentle brown eyes give us the power to see

The choices we should make in our lives;

Your wonderful ears give us a reason to listen to others

And your amazing feet lead us always to the path we should take.

We remember the energy you used to seek new adventures

Though your pace was slow and sure;

Your friendship and loyalty to those that you loved,

And your sacrifice to those you would never know.

A heart and soul that touched so many can never be forgotten,

Though how we wish that we could feel just one more time

The love and peace of one of your special

Teddy Bear Hugs.
