Patricia Ann "Patti" Geibel, 56, of DeLand, Fla., and East Butler, died Thursday at her home in Florida.

Born in Pittsburgh, Feb. 15, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Floyd J. and Elva Nebel Geibel.

A graduate of Butler High School, Patti always had a great love for animals, especially horses, that led to her education and training as an equine dental technician. She operated her own business, Equine Dental Services, for more than 21 years. She worked in the Butler area during summer months and was a resident of DeLand, where she worked from September through April for the past 10 years.

She was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Patti's greatest joy was her motorcycle, and she was a proud and avid rider. She was an active member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association and the Motor Maids. She also had been active with the Syria Shrine Motor Corps Ladies, the American Legion and the AARP.

Surviving are her daughter, Doreen Norris and her husband, Scott, of Berlin, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Morgan Lee-Ann Norris.

<B>GEIBEL </B>— Friends of Patricia Ann "Patti" Geibel, who died Thursday, March 20, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan will officiate. Following cremation, inurnment will take place at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Herman.Patti worked hard each summer on behalf of the Ride For Kids program that benefited the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
