Katheryn M.L. "Kay" Hutchens Bowers, 85, of Pittsburgh Road died Sunday at her home.

Born July 14, 1922, in Butler, she was the daughter of Clifford and Caroline Dunbar Hutchens.

Mrs. Bowers was a visiting nurse for the Visiting Nurses Association of Butler and for the St. John's Convalescent Unit in Valencia.

She is survived by three sons, Robert L. II, Ronald K. and Charles C. Bowers; two grandchildren, Braden Eric Bowers and Lauren Percy; and a brother, Robert Hutchens.

Her husband, Robert Leroy Bowers Sr., died Nov. 1, 1997.
