3's serve Knights well in 9-3 victory

Three appeared to be the lucky number for the Knoch baseball team Friday.

The Knights scored three runs in each of the first three innings to roll to a 9-3 victory over Valley.

Stush Antoszyk had two hits and scored twice, and Dale Gallo had a single, a double and two RBI for Knoch.

In other games:

• Josh Stimac and Brett Green both smacked home runs, but Karns City came up on the short end of a 7-6 decision to host West Shamokin.

• Garrett Herald, Mark Revesz and Casey Shay all homered in Grove City's 5-1 triumph over Titusville.
