Alicia Dawn English
Alicia Dawn English, 59, of Bredin Street died at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 10, 1949, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of Barbara Ringer Messenger and the late Milo Messenger.
She was a member of the New Beginnings Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. English was a home visiting nurse in Ohio and Arizona.
She was a member of Tanglewood Senior Center and loved racing and sports.
Surviving are her husband, Donald E. English, whom she married Aug. 21, 1987; her mother of Uniontown; two sons, Terry Pugh of Brookfield, Ohio, and Kenneth Moy, Jr. of Kinsman, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. John (Cassaundra) Speelman and Mrs. Michael (Brenda) McNamara, both of Brookfield and Mrs. Lawrence (Cinthia) Haines of McClellandtown; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; five brothers, Randell "Randy" Messenger of Eureka Springs, Ark., Frederick "Ricky" Messenger of Holtwood, Milo "Bobby" Messenger of Salem, Ohio, and Byron "Barry" and Jeffrey Messenger, both of Uniontown; a number of nieces and nephews; a stepson, Justin English of Niles, Ohio; and a step-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Raymond Pugh Jr.
<B>ENGLISH</B> — Friends of Alicia Dawn English, who died Friday, March 21, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Perkins, her church pastor, officiating.
