Widen Tiger Ranch probe
I just want Tiger Ranch operator Linda Bruno's friends to know that the April 28 and 29 preliminary hearing for Bruno at the district judge's office in Gibsonia has been moved to the Allegheny County Courthouse. The times will be posted on Bruno's Web site, www.defendtigerranch.org. Also on her Web site is a link to a negative story that ABC's "20/20" program aired concerning that humane group from Philadelphia that was involved in the Tiger Ranch investigation. On the Web site there is a link to a blog where an attorney had 75 charges of animal cruelty dropped for his client.
I think there is a big story that the media are ignoring. When a veterinarian from Buffalo Township and the former animal control officer from Butler charged Bruno with the worst case of animal cruelty in Pennsylvania's history, they said the reason they went to the Philadelphia group was because the humane societies in Western Pennsylvania either were incompetent or corrupt.
They said before any inspections, Bruno would receive a phone call and she would clean up Tiger Ranch. If this is true, then there should be an investigation concerning the humane societies in Western Pennsylvania.
