UNIONTOWN— 84 Lumber founder Joe Hardy is officially divorced from his third wife.

The 84-year-old multimillionaire from Fayette County was married to 23-year-old Kristin Georgi for less than four months when he filed for divorce in August.

In court documents, Hardy described the marriage as "irretrievably broken."

A judge on Tuesday signed a divorce decree that legally ended the union.

Hardy married Georgi on May 5 in Las Vegas.

The bride had worked at the Hardy family-owned Nemocolin Woodlands Resort and Spa in Farmington.

Hardy is a flamboyant philanthropist and a former county commissioner.

He celebrated his 84th birthday last year with a party that featured the entertainers Christina Aguilera, Bette Midler and Robin Williams.
